The Art and Environment group supports the environmental needs of the church to align with the liturgical season or feast and nurture the faith of the community. The group meets 4-5 times per year to plan and prepare for upcoming seasons (i.e. Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week), and coordinates volunteers for larger-scale decorating efforts.

Communion to the Homebound

Communion to the Homebound distributes Eucharist consecrated at Mass to those unable to attend due to temporary illness or longer-term infirmity. To find out more about the ministry or to be added to the distribution list, contact the Parish Office at office@holycrossfairview.org. Several parishioners have been meeting in an attempt to revitalize our ministry to the sick and homebound. We are in the process of determining the desire of our homebound parishioners to receive the Eucharist every Sunday. In order to provide this service, we are in need of several parishioners to serve in this ministry. A one time training session will be required for all those who will be involved.

Please contact Carol Hutzel at carolhutzel@gmail.com or 814-572-0018 for more details and to indicate your intent to serve in this important ministry.
